Launch event success!

Posted in Launch by christy winston on April 30, 2010

We did it!  And by “we” I mean Gary, me, and every able body and willing heart in the vicinity!  There are no words to describe the thanks we have for our friends and family that made the launch event not only possible, but AMAZING.  Our volunteers worked selflessly on this launch as if it were their own.  It was so humbling to accept that kind of help and we’re finding it difficult to express the depth of our thankfulness.  Thank you to all who attended…you’re support and passion for the brand was overwhelming!  Special thanks to Krochet Kids and Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine–you guys rock!

The event was such a success not only for ever/after, but most importantly for our partner charities.  We have an awesome item remaining from the silent auction and we’d like to take this opportunity to raise more funds for Loving Hearts Babies Home, Minnie Street Community Center and the village of Rojo Gomez, Mexico.  We’re going to give you all the chance to bid on this final item here on our blog:

Michael Jordan Flight School, (session 2 dates: August 6th – August 10th) held at The University of California, Santa Barbara.  Tuition Includes Room, meals, medical care, basketball instruction, one MJFS Poster, camp t-shirt, color team photo with Michael Jordan, certificate of participation, player evaluation card and tons of fun.  Michael Jordan will be in attendance on four of the five camp days (each session) conducting personal lectures, interacting with the campers, refereeing random games, taking team photos, and signing one personal autograph per camper.
(co-ed & for ages 7-18) Value of $760

We’ll start the bidding at $200. How often to you get to change a child’s life and meet Michael Jordan?!?!  Please email bids to press@everafterclothing.com by May 4th 9 am PST.

We’ll be keeping you posted on more updates from the launch event and other going’s on…be sure to check back in and refer a friend!  Also check out some of the pictures from last night’s event…

What a rager! Tell “ever” that she throws a great party and that I’m still thinking about it long “after” 😉
